Position overview:
- As the Global Sales Director for Smart Mobility Products, you will play a crucial role in expanding and developing our market presence in the European and US regions. This leadership position requires a dynamic individual with extensive experience, a proven track record in engaging with tier 1 and tier 2 automotive suppliers, OEMs, and a background in fostering relationships within the mobility sector. The ideal candidate will thrive in a startup environment, bringing a wealth of knowledge and strategic vision to drive sales growth and establish VinAI as a key player in the Smart Mobility industry.
Key responsibilities:

Market Expansion:
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive sales strategies to penetrate and expand market share in the EU and US regions.
- Identify key market trends, opportunities, and challenges to drive business growth.

Strategic Partnerships:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with tier 1 and tier 2 automotive suppliers, OEMs, and key players in the mobility sector.
- Collaborate with partners to explore joint ventures and strategic alliances.

Sales Leadership:
- Provide visionary leadership to the sales team, setting clear goals and objectives to achieve revenue targets.
- Drive the sales team to deliver exceptional results, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Customer Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Act as a key point of contact for major clients, addressing their requirements and feedback.

Market Intelligence:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform business strategies.
- Utilize market intelligence to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of market developments.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the Smart Mobility or automotive technology industry.
- Extensive network and relationships with tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers, OEMs, and stakeholders in the mobility sector.
- Previous experience in startup environments, demonstrating adaptability and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
