Mr. Vuong Cap, Head of DMS (VinAI), demonstrated the world’s first Automatic Mirror Adjustment (AMA) feature, available on the VF8 and VFe34 car models, impressing attendees with its capabilities. This world-first feature gives drivers the power of personalized perfect mirror adjustment by just pressing a button. VinAI’s goal of meeting the EU NCAP 2023 (Euro New Car Assessment Programme) criteria by July highlights its commitment to developing innovative products that meet the highest safety standards.
With the desire to bring technological breakthroughs in the auto industry, Head of Advanced Surround View Monitoring System (ASVM, VinAI), Mr. Chan Vu amplified the driving experience by showcasing VinAI technology with a 360-degree view of the VF8 and VFe34, which provides live-time undisturbed imagery of all surroundings.
The highlight of ASVM is the transparent view mode (Jelly View), which helps the driver to see the outside the car and even underneath the vehicle in addition to allowing drivers the ability to switch between different views using the on-screen control panel. In Jelly View mode, the driver can see blind spots, thereby avoiding unexpected accidents on narrow roads, bad roads or in parking lots. VinAI wants to popularize the 360-degree panoramic view (ASVM) feature, which is currently only available on high-end, luxury cars.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoai, Head of Smart Edge, demonstrated the Guard Pro system, which accurately detects and identifies security threats by analyzing image data from 150 camera streams on each processor, enhancing overall security quality in modern metropolitan environments.
