Who is VinAI looking for? 

As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will be responsible to design & develop safety-critical SW applications for ADAS and AD systems. You will work along with other SW engineers and support SW architects in designing high performance embedded software for automotive ECUs. We are looking for someone with a good, embedded software development background with hands on experience on C++, Linux & POSIX.

What you’ll do

  • Analyze and interpret SW requirements and possibly breakdown into smallest testable feature
  • Define & Develop SW interfaces along with other SW engineers
  • Implement software modules for high performance, safety critical, automotive ADAS ECUs
  • Support managers and team leads in providing inputs for planning activities
  • Follow defined organization SW processes and prepare required documentation to support the same
  • Support in defining the unit test strategy and executing the unit tests.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Automotive, Electrical, Communication or Computer Engineering
  • 6+ years of Software Development experience in safety critical systems (e.g., automotive, aerospace)
  • Strong programming skills in C++
  • Proficient in SW development using various protocols like CAN and Ethernet
  • Long term thinking, stable and scalable design & continuous improvement skills
  • Enjoying new challenges and innovative technologies
  • Very good English language skills.

Nice to Have’s

  • Master’s Degree or higher in Automotive, Electrical, Communication, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge and/or experience in Adaptive Autosar
  • Experience with Agile software engineering methodology
